Course Overview
The Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB™) certification focuses on testing learners on their comprehensive understanding of the various Six Sigma tools and techniques. The objective of the online value-added course (complementary with certification exam) is to develop a comprehensive knowledge base that helps learners to function effectively as a Six Sigma Black Belt in various Six Sigma projects. The tools and techniques cover both quantitative and non-quantitative analysis along with other necessary knowledge to improve the production process and minimize defects in the end product with a greater focus on the practical implementation of these tools and techniques in the organization. Learners are expected to take and pass an exam that comprises of 125 questions with a completion time-box of 180 minutes.
Course Strategy
This course looks to equip Learners with in-depth knowledge to engage a standardized approach to problem-solving for the purpose of continuous improvement whilst engendering operational efficiency through a reduction of waste/defect to 3.4 in a million opportunities.
Learning Outcomes
- Through case examples, Learners will be intimated with the tools and techniques of Quality Management or Business Process Improvement project delivery.
- Learners will be equipped with detailed knowledge and understanding of 6Sigma’s DMAIC methodologies.
