Course Overview
Scrum Master Certified (SMC®) professionals are facilitators who ensure that the Scrum Team is provided with an environment conducive to completing the project successfully. The Scrum Master guides, facilitates, and teaches Scrum practices to everyone involved in the project; clears impediments for the team; and, ensures that Scrum processes are being followed. Our learners are expected to sit for and pass the online proctored exam (which comprises of 100 questions expected to be completed in 120 minutes).
Course Strategy
This course looks to prepare Learners to become the “servant leader” of the Scrum Team who moderates and facilitates team interactions as a Team Coach and Motivator. Learners will be trained to be is responsible for ensuring that the team has a productive work environment by guarding the team from external influences, removing any obstacles, and enforcing Scrum principles, aspects, and processes.
Learning Outcomes
- Learners will readily be able to recognize, define, and work with the concepts, advantages, and challenges of the Scrum Framework.
- Learners will be prepared to play the role of Scrum Master in their organizations and help their organizations adopt the Scrum Framework. Furthermore, Learners will develop an understanding of the other roles in Scrum.
- Learners will gain knowledge pertaining to, and the ability to anticipate issues related to the practical implementation of Scrum.
- Learners will be armed with the proper tools to address, resolve, and take the lead on Scrum issues in their organizations.
- Learners will be provided access to an online exam. After passing the exam, each Learner’s certificate will be mailed to him or her.
